President Joe Biden is causing serious fury across the board after removing the ban on transgender athletes.
The shocking decision of the Biden administration is a complete U-turn of events after it previously called for a law barring all transwomen from taking part in female school sports competitions.
The new decision was made during the later hours of Friday night and that has since then caused a major uproar among the masses that want a better explanation on the matter.
The admin made the public aware of the new rule by issuing a notification in the Federal Register.
The rule came in April of 2023 but after getting more than 150k replies on the issue, they thought it was time to take a step back and rethink it.
As per the administration, it’s no longer considered necessary, calling it unfair. Before, the same administration agreed that transwomen players were larger in size and performed better.
They called this behavior unfair and one that sparked controversies from their cis counterparts.
But many think this new decision is one that the country will not appreciate as it might favor more transwomen to take part while regular women would continue to be defeated against such counterparts. What do you think?
