Heartbreaking news RIP

SKYDIVING star Freddy Chase broke the sad news that his wife had died with a touching tribute.

28-year-old Devrey Jane LaRiccia-Chase died in a terrible accident. Chase has since spoken out about what happened before she died.

LaRiccia-Chase was a teacher of skydiving for a living from California.

Famous athlete and daredevil content creator, her husband, broke his silence about what happened on Instagram story.

All right, everyone… “I want to thank all of you for the love I’ve received over the past few days and know I will continue to receive for days to come because of this terrible event,” he began his statement.

Next, Chase talked about what happened right before she died.

“Devrey went to work at skydive perris, smiling as usual. It was a beautiful day, and she was a tandem instructor. On her last jump, she did a normal fall with a student.

“There was no problem with the plane or with the canopy. She was just doing what she has done hundreds of times: turning her canopy on final to land safely on the grass.”

“She saw what people in the business call “dust devils,” which are small tornadoes that can be dangerous in the sport.

“At about 40ft devrey avoid one of them, but caught a second one, with dust devils going over grass they come invisible because you can’t see any dust in the direction there going.”

According to him, the terrible event made “her canopy spin out of control.”

Chase said that she was still alive but unconscious when she hit the ground.

LaRiccia-Chase sadly died at the hospital from her injuries.

Chase used to post a video of his late wife, but he took it down because “it was too close to her death.”

“I loved that perfect girl,” Chase said to end his speech.

Before talking about his wife’s sad death, Chase wrote a heartbreaking tribute to her on Instagram.

“My soul, my love, my other half, my baby my ride or die, my everything, my wife…” Chase put together a piece about his late wife.

“You were [too] perfect for this world and god just wanted to bring you home, you were an angel amongst us and just was called back to heaven.”

Chase told them how hard it had been for him to deal with her sudden death.

“Having to say goodbye to you for now will forever be the hardest thing I will ever do in my life,” said he.

“I love you so much my now and forever angel,” said he.

People paid tribute to the late skydiving instructor in the comments section of Chase’s post.

Someone wrote, “I’m so sorry for your loss. This is heartbreaking.”

Another person wrote, “She was the kind of light the world needs more of right now.”

It’s devastating. Freddy, I love you.”

Chase has since put a lot of pictures and videos of his wife on his Instagram Stories.

After she passed away, her family set up a GoFundMe page.

It breaks our hearts to tell you about the death of our beloved daughter and sister, her family wrote on the page.

The family needed help getting her body back to Maine, where she was born and raised.

So far, this page has raised more than $53,000 as of Monday night.

Her family put up an update to thank everyone who had given money.
