An artist from Ohio did not hold back in terms of creating a giant 15-foot-tall statue of new president-elect Donald Trump ahead of his inauguration on Monday.
The statue is all set to begin its tour of the country before eventually landing inside Donald Trump’s presidential library.
As per the sculptor, the piece is a one-of-a-kind and features Trump’s symbolic first expression.
Sculptor Alan Cottrill shared more on the artwork including how it immortalizes that exact moment featuring the defiant pumped fist that Trump threw in the air after narrowly escaping his assassination attempt. This was during a rally in Butler, PA.
The status weighs a massive six tons and was forged in Zanesville Ohio. The master bronzesmith says it was commissioned just a week after Trump’s historic assassination attempt that nearly killed him and ended up piecing the skin on his ear.
Social media was seen going wild over the news of the statue. Some called it a masterpiece while others quickly mentioned that it was as big as Trump’s ego. Another shared that if Trump ended up losing, there would have been a lot of unhappy people.
