Goldie revealed that the charm of L.A. no longer appeals to her, especially after two frightening events at their home.

As crime continues to rise in L.A., even Goldie and Kurt’s home wasn’t safe. The actress shared on Kelly Ripa’s *Let’s Talk Off Camera* podcast that she and Kurt are planning to move, especially after experiencing two break-ins within a short time.

She explained that they’ve started considering safer places to live, mentioning Palm Desert as a potential new home. They believe it’s much safer than L.A., which they now describe as “terrible.”

Goldie described the two burglaries, saying that in both cases, robbers tried to enter their property. In one instance, they managed to break in and rummage through their belongings.

She detailed the first break-in, saying, “They completely knocked down my door, which was a safe door. These were very skilled thieves, and they took a lot of my things.”

Just four months after the first burglary, another group of robbers targeted their home. This second incident convinced Goldie that it was time to leave L.A. She admitted that the experiences have left her constantly on edge, unable to fully relax.

Goldie and Kurt’s story isn’t unique. In 2024, other celebrities, including King Bach, Corinna Kopf, Farrah Aldjufrie, and Patrick Patterson, were also victims of burglaries in Los Angeles.
